AliveCor KardiaMobile 6L is a personal ECG monitor that works with your smartphone and fits easily in your pocket. Perform an unlimited number of ECGs, anytime, anywhere, without wires or patches. After a 30-second ECG, you'll know whether your heart rhythm is normal or whether atrial fibrillation has been detected. AFib is one of the most common cardiac arrhythmias and a leading cause of stroke. Carry out an ECG when you feel a symptom or simply when you want to reassure yourself. Send your doctor detailed 6-lead ECGs to give him or her a better picture of the state of your heart.

How to use it

Configuring your KardiaMobile 6L for first-time use :
1. Download the Kardia app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Check that your iOS or Android device is compatible on the list of compatible devices (www.alivecor.com/compatibility).
2. Check that Bluetooth connectivity is activated in the settings of your smartphone or tablet.
3. Launch the Kardia app and tap "Create Account".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account.

Record a 6-sensor ECG
1. Open the application and tap on "Record your first ECG".
2. Choose KardiaMobile 6L.
3. Select the 6 sensor option.
4. When you're ready, hold the ECG device with your thumbs, touching the top two electrodes. There is no need to squeeze or press hard. Make sure the unit is orientated so that the AliveCor "A" is facing you.
5. After placing your thumbs on the two upper electrodes, place the ECG device on the Nude Skin of your leg (knee or inside of your ankle). The lower electrode should be in contact with your Skin.
6. Remain still while watching the 30-second countdown, until the end of your ECG recording.

Record a single sensor ECG
1. Open the application and press "Record your first ECG".
2. Choose KardiaMobile 6L. Follow the instructions on the screen to set up and connect your KardiaMobile 6L to your phone.
3. Place the device on a flat surface near your smartphone. Make sure the device is oriented so that the AliveCor "A" is facing you.
4. When you are ready, place two fingers of each hand on the two electrodes. There's no need to squeeze or press hard.
5. Your recording is about to begin. Remain still as you watch the 30-second countdown to the end of your ECG recording.

Features and functionality:
KardiaMobile 6L is a 3-electrode personal ECG device capable of recording both types of ECG: single-sensor ECG and six-sensor ECG, with more data to send to your doctor. Both types of ECG detect normal sinus rhythms, atrial fibrillation, bradycardia, tachycardia and indeterminate results (errors or unclassified rhythms). KardiaMobile 6L has two electrodes on the upper surface and one electrode on the lower surface. It is powered by a battery located under the lower electrode. ECG data is transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth from the device to your smartphone or tablet.
